Centralized Local Government Information
As the local seat of county government, the main duty of the Fiscal Court is to allocate funding and establish guidelines for many important and essential services in unincorporated Hardin County. This is primarily accomplished by the passing of Resolutions, which are voted on during the regularly scheduled Fiscal Court meetings, as dictated by KRS.
The subjects of these Resolutions can be far-ranging, from establishing wages and salaries, to approving purchases and contracts, appointing members to various boards and commissions, or keeping up operational compliance with new state regulations.
