Report an Issue OR Concern

Hardin County residents can now skip the phone call and connect digitally with a new text messaging platform.

Hardin County Government has joined with TextMyGov. Residents in Hardin County the ability to receive answers to common questions, report a issue or concern, request services 24/7 with TextMyGov.

When reporting (i.e., pothole, trash, road sign) users will be requested to respond to specific questions, in relation to the concern. You will have the ability to upload a photo if needed. Reports and issues are then imported into one of the County’s record management software and emailed to appropriate staff.

Residents can also text in keywords (i.e., hours, agenda, pets, Car tags) and receive autogenerated responses or a link to Hardin County’s website containing applicable information.

To get started text “Report, Issue, or Concern” to (270) 951-0951

TextMyGov, gives residents 24/7 access to most questions and the ability to issue a report of a concern even when no one is in the office. We are excited to be launching this service.

Residents can text “HARDINCOUNTY” to 91896 and opt-in for Hardin County (non-emergency) event notifications.

Residents can also sign up to receive Hardin County (non-emergency) alerts via text message. These alerts will be a pre-scheduled text message to remind residents of events happening through-out the county.
