The Hardin County Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining all county-owned buildings and grounds and providing a clean, safe environment.

A Special Thanks…
Louis Lawson maintained all county properties for 29 years as Hardin County Jailer. 

After his retirement in 2012, he returned to work, on a part-time basis to oversee the construction of our new government building. 

With his assistant, John Bowen he continues to oversee the maintenance of all county properties.

  • Hardin County Attorney’s Office
  • Hardin County Library
  • Hardin County Museum
