The Hardin County Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining all county-owned buildings and grounds and providing a clean, safe environment.

All maintenance and grounds work in and around these locations are a direct contribution of the this department:
- Hardin County Government Building
- Hardin County Animal Shelter
- Hardin County Road Department
- Hardin County Attorney’s Office
- Hardin County Library
- Hardin County Museum
- EMS Stations 1, 2, & 3
