Engineering

The Engineering Department provides engineering guidance, review and oversight to development within Hardin County. All Hardin County GIS services are the responsibility of the Hardin County Engineering Department, which provides GIS guidance, training and technical support for all Hardin County departments.

The department also maintains data on current road projects, future commercial and residential developments, storm water drainage and runoff, FEMA floodplain mapping, contour elevation data for the entire county, and LiDAR point cloud for the entire county.
