Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) allow us to view, understand, question, interpret, and visualize data in many ways to reveal relationships, patterns, and trends in the forms of maps, globes, reports, and charts. Hardin County uses GIS data to give the public access to web-based mapping applications.

The mapping application data contained within this site is for informational and viewing purposes only. This data is not designed to be used for any commercial or residential development. Property boundaries may be skewed due to differences in the geographic coordinate systems used in this application.
