Information Technology

The Information Technology Department supports all County departments ensuring proper management, security, and automated solutions which allow staff members to be efficient with all tasks within their respective positions across the county. Including Animal Care & Control Shelter, County Attorney, Emergency Management, Finance, Human Resources, Judge Executive, EMS stations, and Road Department.

While the main focus is on employee access and operation, the IT Department also oversees citizen-facing services, such as TextMyGov, YouTube, and Hardin County Government webpage.

Please note, elected offices retain the right to administer their own systems. The IT Department is NOT solely responsible for issues concerning the County Clerk, Detention Center, Public Library, PVA, or Sheriff.
